The Gastro Card heads to Oxfordshire

The Gastro Card, the Midlands’ leading discount dining card, is moving into Oxfordshire.

Offering exclusive discounts at selected dining out venues The Gastro Card has already proved a major success in Birmingham, Coventry, Warwickshire and Worcestershire.

The Gastro Card partners include Michelin-starred restaurants, hotels, country pubs and other restaurants offering cuisine from around the world.

Geoff Abbott, one of The Gastro Card founders says: “Oxfordshire is the next logical move for The Gastro Card. The city attracts nine million visitors each year and is the gateway to the Cotswolds, Stratford-upon-Avon and the wider West Midlands.

The Gastro Card is collaborating with Visit Oxfordshire, the new Destination Management Organisation for the county, to promote selected restaurants across Oxfordshire and Gastro Cards will soon be available for sale through the Tourist Information Centre on Broad Street, Oxford and online at

Jo Butler. Tourism Manager at Visit Oxfordshire said: “The Gastro Card partner restaurants are selected through personal experience, recommendations and reviews – many are award-winning and now visitors and residents alike can make savings when eating out. It will also help local restaurants to increase their level of business.”

Typical savings range between 10% and 25% off the food bill or total bill and up to 50% off wine.

We would like to invite YOU to become a Partner Restaurant with The Gastro Card.

There are no costs involved for the restaurant – all we ask is that you make an offer to The Gastro Card holders that is NOT available to the general public.

The offer does not have to be for every day – many restaurants make Monday to Thursday offers – and, as The Gastro Card is web-based, you can change your offer in an instant with just an email or phone call.
