The Manor Restaurant
The Restaurant at the Macdonald Alveston Manor has long been recognised as one of Stratford-upon-Avon’s premier venues. Our team of chef’s create a daily house menu with a choice of traditional dishes with a modern twist; they use only the freshest ingredients and are happy to cater for guests with special dietary needs.
We serve only Scottish Beef and Lamb supplied by Scotbeef which has been reared on natural Scottish Pastures and is fully traceable back to it’s point of origin. Our pork is sourced and produced to the British quality standard mark from farms around Watton in Norfolk. Even our chickens are corn fed and free range.
The Manor Restaurant is decorated in rich fabrics and colours with features such as leaded windows and beams which create a warm and intimate atmosphere.
The Restaurant is open every evening for residents and non-residents, and we are open for Sunday Lunch, from 12.30 until 2.00pm, a traditional family lunch at £22.50 per person, represents great value for money.
Stratford-upon-Avon is steeped in Shakespearean history, nowhere more so than the picturesque Macdonald Alveston Manor and Spa. Set in its own grounds but only a few minutes walk from Stratford town centre, the Macdonald Alveston Manor Hotels one of the finest bases from which to explore the area. The original hotel comprises a beautiful Tudor building with many authentic features, whilst the gardens boast an ancient Cedar Tree under which, rumour has it, the first performance of ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ was given.
