Ready, Steady Bake for Solihull Fair-trade Cake – 20th February
Gastro Card was once again delighted to be working with Solihull Council, Solihull Arts complex and Solihull Soroptomists as we celebrated for the third year Solihull Borough’s “Fair-trade Cake Off” taking place at the newly re-furbished Solihull Arts Complex, it was a great activity to enjoy during half term.
With fabulous prizes such as an overnight stay in a deluxe suite at Genting Hotel at Resorts World, two Fair-trade hampers from Traidcraft , an afternoon tea for two at the Highline Bar at Resorts World, gifts from Molton Brown and tickets to Hatton Country World and many other great prizes.
Judges included Chef & Owner Andy Waters from Waters Restaurant in Resorts World and patisserie chef Darryl Collins from Genting Hotel with presentations made by the Mayor of Solihull.
