Meet Glynn Purnell at Harvey Nichols and get his fabulous new book!

Birmingham’s most celebrated chef Glynn Purnell will be hosting an exclusive signing of his new book at Harvey Nichols.


The Michelin-starred maestro will be in store on Wednesday July 16 to meet with guests and sign copies of his latest release Cracking Yolks & Pig Tales.

The best-selling book – a mixture of anecdotes and recipes – has received high acclaim since its launch in May this year. In it, Glynn shares his kitchen secrets and favourite creations, including Mackerel and Potato Pakora, Pork Chops with Sauerkraut and Chocolate and Passion Fruit Dome.

“Glynn is such an iconic figure in Birmingham and has certainly put the city firmly on the map when it comes to great places to eat out,” said Richard Vickery, General Manager of Harvey Nichols Birmingham. “We are delighted that he will be in store this month for this exclusive signing with our customers.”

Glynn added: “Harvey Nichols is going through an exciting transition, with lots of activity buzzing around the re-launch in 2015. I really enjoy meeting people that love to cook and sharing their passion for food. Brummies are always a good crowd, so the event at the Birmingham store will be a fun evening for all involved.”

The evening will run from 5.30pm-7.30pm and will be held in the Espresso Café and Perrier Jouet Bridge at the luxury Mailbox store.
