Matthew Cheal Of Simpsons Restaurant Wins Chef Of The Year

We would like to off our congratulations to chef Matthew Cheal in winning the prestigious accolade of British Culinary Federation Chef of the year at the final, staged at the Hotelympia, Excel in London on Monday 1st March sponsored by Aubrey Allen butchers.

Matt joined 9 other competitors in the final of the competition, creating a 3 course menu within 2 hours which was then presented to a panel of esteemed judges including Idris Caldora MOGB, Pierre Koffmann, and Glynn Purnell.

Matt now joins both Executive chef Luke Tipping and Head Chef Adam Bennett at Simpsons who have previously won this award.
