Double wins for Hotel du Vin as they win awards for “Outstanding Customer Service”

This year’s IAB awards took place on Saturday 29th November at the ICC. Hosted by broadcaster Suzanne Virdee, over 450 businesses were in attendance and with just four awards to pick up the competition was fierce. The Hotel du Vin team came up trumps when they were awarded the “Outstanding Customer Service” award for 2014.

Tony Elvin, General Manager of Hotel du Vin, said:  “It was a great accolade just to be shortlisted for the IAB Outstanding Customer Service Award but to come away from a brilliant night with the win was just amazing.  I’m so proud of my team and so grateful to the IAB for their support.”

President of the IAB, Saqib Bhatti added, “Hotel Du Vin were a worthy winner of Outstanding Customer Services Award. Given how robustly this award is judged and the amount of interest and applications we had for this award, being selected as the winner is no small feat. Hotel Du Vin, gave an exceptional application demonstrating that they really had taken the time to understand the needs and desires of their customers, and they had then tailored their whole customer service strategy around this research and understanding. When your business model is around the customer and the customer’s experience, it really does only mean one thing: Success.”

The Hotel du Vin team also won an award at the Best Bar None Awards at the ICC, when the new Bubble Lounge picked up the trophy for Best Hotel Bar.
