Congratulations to Moor Hall Hotel & Spa in Sutton Coldfield as they are awarded a second AA Rosette
The Oak Room restaurant at Moor Hall Hotel & Spa in Sutton Coldfield has been awarded 2 AA Rosettes for culinary excellence following an anonymous visit from the AA judges.
The long established AA Rosette scheme recognises excellent cooking across the UK, and a prestigious AA Rosette is awarded to restaurants which stand out in the local area and serve food prepared with care, understanding and skill, using good quality ingredients. Of all the restaurants in the UK approx 5% are of a standard which is worthy of 2 Rosettes and above and the award reflects the consistent high quality of food and the service offered by the team at this popular local hotel.

Moor Hall & Spa’s culinary team is lead by Charlotte Foster who began cooking in a professional kitchen at 15 and has worked her way up to the position of Head Chef, as a result of her continued commitment to creating outstanding food. Charlotte leads her team with enthusiasm to create The Oak Room’s innovative modern British menu which offers something for every taste with simple yet elegant dishes where quality local and seasonal ingredients do all the talking; along with the à la carte menu there is also a fabulous tasting menu of 7 delicious courses which gives the Chefs a real chance to excel. Highlights of the current menu include duck liver parfait with gooseberry jelly and rustic bread, cannon of lamb with spiced candied pistachio, fondant potato and pea gel and elderflower panna cotta with mint sorbet.

Moor Hall’s Oak Room restaurant offers an à la carte menu Monday to Saturday evenings and is also open for Sunday lunch.
