CBSO – Be Uplifted Appeal for December

The campaign, which supports youth and community singing, is fronted by Alan Titchmarsh and launches on Tuesday 1 December, as part of #GivingTuesday*. Hear more about the appeal from Alan Titchmarsh here It costs over £100,000 annually to run the CBSO choral programme, which involves over 600 people every week. This extensive programme develops and inspires talent, unites individuals and communities and offers health and wellbeing benefits to those involved. The Be Uplifted Festive Appeal aims to raise £10,000 to ensure that the choruses can remain accessible to all and, thanks to generous support from longstanding CBSO supporters the appeal will be match-funded, meaning that every pound given will be doubled, up to a total of £10,000. The campaign will run throughout the whole of December culminating at the Christmas concerts Festive Favourites. Gifts can be made online at JustGiving or through a donation form available by calling 0121 616 6500. Pledge your support by donating online and sharing the appeal with your networks.
