Andy Waters Opens New Restaurant at Resorts World Birmingham

Waters restaurant interior Top Midlands chef Andy Waters has opened his brand new venture, Waters Restaurant at Resorts World Birmingham, Europe’s first large scale resort destination. Waters Restaurant is situated adjacent to the cinema and near to the High Line New York Bar and Lounge and the Bottega Prosecco Bar and will serve classic British and French dishes with a twist that has become associated with Andy Waters approach to cooking. The restaurant is open seven days a week and have 65 covers and alongside the main menu, a 2-course menu rapide for £14.95 will be available at lunchtime and early evening. The opening of the Waters Restaurant at Resorts World Birmingham further adds to the range of dining available at the resort and will complement the options for visitors to the complex including those on business and staying at the Genting Hotel and for delegates using the VOX conference centre. Andy was presented with the prestigious Robert J Smith Award in 2012 which is presented for professionalism, dedication and support of the British Culinary Federation. Aaron Darnley, who has worked with Andy for several years since graduating from the Birmingham College of Food, will be Head Chef of Waters Restaurant. Aaron is a former Captain of the Junior England British Culinary Federation Team and in 2010 was awarded the Johnnie Borra Memorial Award by the British Culinary Federation, presented to the most promising young chef under the age of 25.
