Marcus Lane’s special cooking at his intricate and elegantly modern venture is proclaimed by local legions as simply a gastronomic delight.

Established in 1994, and taken over by Chef Marcus Lane in 2001, Rafters Restaurant has long been regarded as one of Sheffield’s finest restaurants.

Rafters Restaurant has been awarded two AA Rosettes for the third year running, and also has entries in The Good Food Guide, Harden’s Restaurant Guide and the Michelin Guide. Rafters Restaurant was also voted the Yorkshire Post Restaurant of the Year 2003-2004.

Situated in a leafy, well regarded suburb of Sheffield, yet only 10 minutes from the City Centre, the area around Rafters Restaurant affords plenty of off-street parking.
