The Bar and Restaurant are in the original 16th century building, where customers will find a warm and welcoming atmosphere.With many original features, including log fires, low beams and wattle and daub walls, the bar and restaurant are a distinct comparison to the contemporary hotel. 

The inn which features in The Good Pub Guide has an excellent reputation for providing real ale, fine wines and excellent food. Our Sunday Lunch Carvery is very popular and we also hold regular Speciality Nights.  The Bar serves traditional real ales; and the recently awarded restaurant uses the best local produce and continues to produce outstanding dishes with an impressive, extensive wine list. The Golden Lion is a friendly, family-run hotel and 16th century inn located in the village of Easenhall, 4 miles from Rugby and 9 miles from Coventry with convenient access to the M6 and M1.  The hotel accredited with 3 AA Stars has 20 bedrooms which are located in a smart extension. All the bedrooms are ensuite and are equipped with practical and homely items with free internet access. Romantic Breaks are available in our four poster rooms with spa baths.
