Mr Underhill’s is situated at the foot of Ludlow Castle ramparts on the banks on the River Teme, just five minutes’ walk from the market square.

This Michelin starred restaurant looks onto the courtyard garden, romantically candle-light at night, and the River Teme beyond. All the rooms and suites overlook both garden and river. To ensure that it maintains its five star gold award all the accommodation continues to be fine-tuned and upgraded.

Mr Underhill’s has been serving award-winning food for over 29 years. Using only the best ingredients the style of unfussy presentation combined with carefully honed individual flavours seems to be more popular than ever.

Mr Underhill’s has applied the same formula of simplicity and quality to its rooms, an example being our hand-made beds with mattresses made by a small artisan company that also supplies various royal palaces and Hollywood stars.
