The Royal Oak @ Eydon

All the produce is sourced as locally as possible – the majority coming from within a 10 mile radius.

The Royal Oak has a successful beer token scheme, in exchange for produce from local allotments, giving it the freshest seasonal fruit and vegetables all year round. This allows the menus to be changed  seasonally, as well as introducing a variety of exciting specials on a regular basis.

All fish is mostly sourced from Brixham fish market. All the fish comes from day boats, has full traceability and is sustainable. This gives the chefs the opportunity to provide a great fish specials board, with such treats as fruit de mar, fresh lobster and an ever changing selection of different fish.

The Royal Oak is a pub with a personality of its own.

The building dates back to the 17th century with stone interior, secret alcoves and four separate dining areas, making it a cosy place to have a delicious meal or a pint of local ale.

On a warm summers day there is an outside court yard where customers can enjoy a glass of Rioja and wide variety of tapas. During the winter months, the pub makes use of warm under floor heating, log fires and church candles.
