The Jam House

The Jam House opened in 1999 to the sound of Jools Holland and his Rhythm ‘n’ Blues Orchestra. They rocked the house on this first night and continue to make occasional appearances at this exciting and unique venue.

Located in the heart of the Jewellery Quarter of Birmingham, the Jam House occupies a traditional and historic Georgian building set in the picturesque St Paul’s Square. The Jam House offers seating spread over three stylish yet informal airy floors, boasting a capacity for up to 600 people.

The Jam House is a landmark venue offering “music to feed your soul and music to entertain your taste”. Live musical performances every Tuesday to Saturday and in the words of Jools Holland, we offer “a broad church of musical styles” including guitar soaked anthems, big funky soul, swing, jazz, reggae and blues – with the occasional country & folk shows to see if you’re paying attention!

Jam House restaurant diners can enjoy freshly cooked international cuisine served on the top floor, which seats over 90 people. Head Chef, Simon Kiridzija Bishop, formerly of the Newhall Hotel, the Belfry & the London Savoy, brings imaginative international flavours to fresh locally sourced ingredients. Dishes to look forward to on the new summer menu include ‘Cured Salmon and on Summer Vegetable Salad, Loin of Beef with Parsley Risotto, Snail Garlic Butter and Artichoke’ and ‘Black Forest Fondant on with Sour Cheery Puree and Macaroons’ The Jam House menu changes seasonally in line with market availability.

The Jam House caters for all party types and sizes – buffet and set menus are available for party bookings and corporate events. Bespoke menu for private events are available on request.
