Shah’s Restaurant

The highly-acclaimed Shah’s Restaurant has recently re-opened in Acocks Green having built up a superb reputation throughout the Midlands in its previous Station Street premises.

Producing authentic Bangladeshi and Indian cuisine for the discerning palette all food is bought fresh daily and prepared to order – you may have a short wait for your meal but the wait will be well worthwhile.

Mr Shah has made it his culinary goal to emphasise the difference between a Balti and a Korai (its Pakistani equivalent), and to instill a knowledge of true Indo-Pak cuisine.

Signature dishes include:
Banglar Prem – a combination of king prawn, tender cuts of lamb and chicken tikka pieces marinated in freshly ground spices and cooked in a creamy sauce;

King Prawn Goa – king prawns with fresh green chilli, garlic and coconut cream sauce, garnished with fresh coriander & ginger.

Shahan Shah Sea Bass – fresh sea bass cooked to perfection in a blend of medium spiced gravy, served with spiced potato.
